Every sound is a choice

Quiet Hours is a multiplayer horror game. Up to four survivors try to get out alive. One monster hunts them, and it cannot see. It hears.

Footsteps on gravel. A door you opened too fast. A friend who laughed into the mic. Everything you do makes noise, and the monster follows every sound across the map.

  • Sound is the game

Grass is quiet, wood creaks, broken glass gives you away. Every surface has its own footsteps and every room its own echo.

  • Your microphone is in it

Talk in voice chat and the monster hears it too. Whisper, hold your breath or keep it muted when it gets close.

  • Get out, don't fight

Every map has its own ways out. Fix, call, signal, open. Each escape takes steps, and every mistake is loud.

  • Or be the one listening

Play as the monster. Read the sounds, learn the map, and use your own ability to close in.

Stay quiet

  1. 01

    Learn the escape

Each map has its own routes out, from a night bus to a cable car. Find the parts and do the steps.

  2. 02

    Move like it's listening

Walk, don't run. Pick the quiet path. Lock a door behind you. Hide when it comes.

  3. 03

    Keep your nerve

Fear blurs the edges and plays tricks on you. Skill checks punish a shaking hand with noise.

Hunt by ear

  1. 01

    Hear the map

You can't see far. Footsteps, doors, voices and failed checks all reach you as sound.

  2. 02

    Use your gift

Each monster has its own ability. Echo, Phase, Lure, Shriek and more. Learn when to spend it.

  3. 03

    Close the exits

Slow their escape, guard the loud places and take them one by one before dawn.

What makes it Quiet Hours

More than hide and seek

Not a chase simulator. Every system here is built around one idea: sound is information, and information gets you killed or gets you out.

  • The Last Rite

You can kill it. If you dare.

Find the code fragments, crack the armory, forge ritual shells from the map's relic, expose the monster with a trap or a flash and put two rounds in it before it recovers. Then hold the flare and banish it. Opening the armory sends it into Fury, so every step has a counter.

  • Fear

    Your nerves are a stat

Panic drains color from the world, your heart pounds in your ears, the flashlight flickers and you start hearing things that are not there. Some survivors keep their head better than others.

  • 35 kinds of footstep

Dirt, grass, wood, gravel, water, broken glass. Rooms echo, tunnels carry. Lock a door behind you; it takes the monster two hits to break it.

  • Escapes that are stories

A payphone and a night bus. A hoist cage down a mine shaft. A chairlift, a snowcat, a helicopter. Twenty ways out across six maps, none of them the same, and a hidden hatch for the last one standing.

  • Radios that betray you

Walkie-talkies with batteries, proximity voice the monster can hear, static when it gets close, and a dead channel where the fallen can keep talking.

  • Bots that actually play

Empty seats are filled with AI survivors who repair, hide and panic. The AI monster knows the rituals and guards the exits. A match is always a full match.

  • Progress you earn

Embers from playing, three perk slots with three tiers, characters that level on their own, daily and weekly challenges, 28 achievements. Money buys outfits, never power.

  • Your chat is in the game

Viewers on TikTok LIVE, Twitch and Kick can interact with your run. Streamer Mode built in. Seasonal events through the year; Hollow's Eve is on now.

  • Endings with a stamp on them

Every round ends in a scene: who got out, who was taken, how long you lasted, how many times it heard you. Emblems, stats and awards like Loudest Mouth.

  • Secrets worth whispering about

A radio that talks at 13:13, a scarecrow that turns when nobody looks, the Rat King, a golden lantern, a dog that knows the way. A journal and bestiary keep what you find.

          Before you ask

          Good to know

          Where can I play it?

On PC through Steam. Steam Deck and SteamOS are a priority, with full controller support for Xbox and PlayStation pads.

When does it come out, and what will it cost?

Quiet Hours is coming to Steam Early Access. The date and price will be announced on this page and on Discord first.

          Why Early Access?

So you can play it while it grows. New maps, monsters and events keep coming, and the community helps shape them.

          How many players?

Up to four survivors against one monster. Empty survivor slots are filled with bots, so a match always has a full team.

          Do I need a microphone?

No. Voice chat is optional. If you do talk, keep in mind that the monster can hear you too.

          Can I stream it?

Yes, please do. There is a Streamer Mode in the settings, and your viewers on TikTok LIVE, Twitch and Kick can interact with your game.
